It has become fashionable among America's political intelligentsia to debate whether and how the US should achieve a variety of foreign policy objectives. Their preference for looking overseas at present is understandable. But it would be a shame if they missed the enormous opportunity that is looming large on the domestic front: that of improving America's regulatory agencies.
