FCC Public Hearing on Media Ownership
The Federal Communications Commission announced the fifth public hearing on media ownership issues will be held in Chicago, Illinois in the afternoon and evening on Thursday, September 20, 2007.
The hearing will provide an opportunity for those in the Chicago area to discuss media ownership, including specific issues facing that local market.
Further details will be released at a later date.
Previous FCC public hearings in the current review of media ownership issues were held in Los Angeles, CA on October 3, 2006; Nashville, TN on December 11, 2006; Harrisburg, PA on February 23, 2007 and Tampa Bay-St. Petersburg, FL on April 30, 2007.
