Americas Conference on Information Systems
AMCIS is the largest meeting of information systems academics and researchers from around the world. The expected attendance at this conference will be nearly 1000 people. AMCIS convenes annually to present scientific papers and to examine the constantly changing field of information systems theory and practice. Our conference theme, Navigating the Torrents of Technology. Over
the past few decades, information technology has escaped the basements and
bunkers and has invaded our desks, our laps, and our pockets. At the same time,
some of us have noticed that our friends in industry, our students, our
neighbors, and even our children have participated fully and eagerly in this
invasion.
