"The Mass Media, Children, and Values "rn The growing media literacy movement has helped children and youth to become more media literate for many years now, with a major emphasis upon accessing, analyzing, and evaluating the many complex messages rnpresented through the mass media, particularly advertising in its many forms and formats.rnIn our fifth Northeast Media Literacy Conference 2007, a major focus will be on the impact of today's mass media on young people and their values.
