The conference will focus on nutrition, physical activity, and the issue of childhoodrnobesity from a media literacy education perspective. Keynote speakersrninclude Jean Kilbourne, internationally recognized filmmaker, author,rnand speaker; Dr. Margo Wootan, Director of Nutrition Policy at thernCenter for Science in the Public Interest; and Lee Burton, EducationrnManager, Australian Children's Television Foundation, and author ofrnover 200 media studies curriculum resources.
