Workshop will:
-Raise the awareness of parents & teachers to the media messages children encounter everyday.
-Provide strategies that parents can use to create "healthy media diets" for their children.
-Offer suggestions to parents on how they can talk community leaders and educators about creating media literacy programs for children.

The workshop is hosted by ACME-NorCal free of charge. A follow-up workshop especially for teachers is planned for January.
