The Media and Democracy Coalition is pleased to partner with the Center for Media Justice/Media Action Grassroots Network (MAGNet)\, the National Hispanic Media Coalition (NHMC)\, and the United Church of Christ\, Office of Communication\, Inc. to convene another in our series of forums dedicated to preserving our civil rights in the digital age. These gatherings are a space for public interest media and telecommunications policy experts\, media justice advocates and the larger civil rights and social justice community to come together for dialog and
collaboration.
Every year\, the Journalism Innovations conference brings together some of the brightest innovators and entrepreneurs in media to help define the future of the profession. This forum will continue this work with a new focus on diversity of coverage\, community engagement and addressing the digital divide.
