Communication in the Public Interest: the 54th Annual Conference of the Int'l Communication Association

Throughout the five-day conference, an estimated 1,700 scholars will attend over 400 presentations representing the latest advances in the field of communication. The conference will be large, diverse, and high in quality across the board. The conference theme, "Communication in the Public Interest," received a tremendous response. A common denominator of all endeavors in communication research is to strive for research that has the potential to serve general human and democratic values and norms in the public interest.
